In the app
- Tap More on the bottom bar, then choose Account and sign-in. Before you enter a world, use the Account button on the world picker instead.
- Tap Delete account. The first prompt, Delete account?, explains what deletion does; choose to continue.
- The second prompt, Delete for good?, lists what goes with the account: each kingdom, its army, its coins and every item you own.
- On Confirm it is you, sign in again with a sign-in linked to the account, using the button Sign in with Apple and delete or Sign in with Google and delete. Nothing is deleted until that sign-in succeeds.
- A guest account with no linked sign-in types DELETE in the box instead, then taps Delete for good.
If the account signs in with a provider this device does not offer, delete it from a device where you can use that sign-in, or ask by email as below. Deletion cannot be undone. Reinstalling or removing the app does not delete your account.
By email, without the app
Email support@elderkingdom.com with the subject "Elder Kingdom account deletion", your kingdom name and world. We will verify that the account is yours, for example by asking you to confirm from within the app or sign-in provider, before acting. Do not send passwords, sign-in codes or purchase tokens. We normally complete verified requests within a few working days and always within one month.
What is deleted
- Sign-in access, linked Apple and Google identities, devices, sessions (app and website) and registered push notification tokens are removed straight away.
- Your kingdom and city names are removed, and your avatar is reset.
- Your chat messages, letters, reports, block lists, feed items, invitations and alliance text are erased.
- Chat messages that remain on our servers are in any case deleted automatically after 30 days.
What stays
- Game-world state that no longer identifies you: map tiles, cities, inventory and generals stay in the world under an anonymous tombstone, with ownership of oases and forts released.
- Purchase and audit records, kept for accounting, tax, refund handling and fraud prevention, normally up to six years.
- Nightly backups, which are overwritten after 14 days. Deleted data in a backup is not restored into the live game.
Deleting your account ends your licence to unused coins and items, which are not refunded. See our privacy policy and terms.
