This is the first set of patch notes. Here is what you will notice when you play.
Worlds and accounts
- Moving to another world is free, in any direction, older or newer. You keep your Coins, your cosmetics and your kingdom name if nobody in the new world already uses it. Everything else stays behind, and the game lists it before you confirm.
- One Apple or Google sign-in can hold up to 10 game accounts. When you sign in, an account chooser lists them and lets you start a new one.
Starting out
- Every building and field now starts at level 1 instead of level 0. The first upgrade you make to any of them still takes six seconds.
- The Storehouse starts at level 1 and holds 2,000 of each resource. The Hidden Cellar starts at level 1 and hides 750 of each.
- The tutorial gives you a free 15-minute speed-up for your first Footmen and shows you how to use it. Speed-ups work on buildings too.
- A new tutorial lesson on defending your city explains barbarian raids before the first one comes. Only the troops in your city fight a raid, not those out hunting or marching, and taking the barbarian village stops its raids.
- Two new tips come later on. One shows how to move your city across the map to settle close to where you want to fight. The other points you to Worlds, in your Account under Settings, where you can switch kingdoms or move to another world.
Battles
- Battles are drawn on the painted ground of the place they happen.
- Every troop wears a small mark showing the standing order you gave it.
Lucky Chests
- Lucky Chests are a paid game. One pick costs 10 Coins and ten picks cost 90 Coins.
- The prize list and every chance are shown before you pay.
- A set of ten picks always includes at least one prize of rare quality or better.
- The free Daily Chance is separate and works as before.
Fixes
- If a piece of downloaded art is damaged or missing, the game now downloads it again by itself.
- Invite links now open the game on the Invite friends screen with your friend’s code filled in.
