Found or join
Any ruler can found an alliance or ask to join one. To join, find an alliance in the list and apply; a leader or vice leader accepts you. Founding your own costs 2,000 gold, and the name can be up to 10 characters.
Members share an alliance chat for planning and an alliance mailbox for longer letters.
Ranks
An alliance has one leader, up to five vice leaders and its members. Ranks decide who can accept members, train the alliance army, attack mines and collect the daily package. The leader and vice leaders hold most of these powers, while every member can donate.
Donations and levels
Members donate gold, coins or resources to the alliance. Donations fund its level-ups, which run up to level 20, and its army. Donating also counts towards a Weekly Pass task: see Weekly Pass and Daily Chance.
Fight for the mines
The realm’s mines are fought over by whole alliances. An alliance can hold one mine at a time. A held mine earns prestige every hour, and the longer it is held the less it earns: the hourly amount halves after 48 hours and falls to nothing after 96. Holders also receive a share of resources for the daily package. Holding a mine is a team effort, and so is taking it back, so keep an eye on who is marching on it.
Train alliance armies
Members can also train armies for the alliance itself. The alliance spends donated resources on these troops, which exist to take and defend mines. The same four troop types are used: see Combat basics for their stats.
Climb together
The alliance leaderboard ranks alliances by the total prestige of their members and names each alliance’s leader. When one member grows, the whole alliance climbs. You can see the standings on the leaderboards page.
